Ideas for my magazine

The first thing that I need to decide on before I create my magazine, is what type of magazine I want it to be. I have been given a brief which notes I have to create a college magazine, however how I choose to interpret that is up to me.
I have decided to create a general college magazine, based on everyday goings-on at the college. However, I thought it could be a good idea to produce my magazine as though it is a special issue of a college magazine, which would be interesting and different.
